Turkmenistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan: new opportunities for collaboration are viewed

On October 10, 2019, the meeting was held in the MFA of Turkmenistan between the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan R.Meredov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan M.Tleuberdi.   

After expressing gratitude for warm greetings, the head of the external policy agency of Kazakhstan noted the achievements of Turkmenistan on the international political arena, as well as in the sphere of economy and social development. The parties discussed the key directions of bilateral relations and considered the opportunities of expanding partnership between the state and private sectors of two countries.    

Mutual appreciation was expressed for the support of initiatives in the framework of international and regional organizations that positively affect the resolution of contemporary challenges, maintenance of peace and stability in the region and the world in general.  

In this context, the ministers noted the significance of the Session of the Foreign Ministers’ Council of the CIS countries to be held today in the premises of the MFA of Turkmenistan. It was underlined that the collaboration in the given format contributes to the development of political dialogue, as well as the promotion of financial-trade and cultural-humanitarian ties.    

The parties expressed the hope for further development of Turkmen-Kazakh relations.
