The Ambassador of Turkmenistan met with the Director of the Brussels Diplomatic Academy

Turkmen Ambassador Sapar Palvanov held talks with Dr. Gunter Gaoblomme, Director of the Brussels Diplomatic Academy. The subject of discussion was the possibility of establishing a partnership between the Academy and the Institute of International Relations (IIR) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, various aspects of cooperation were discussed, and the Academy representatives shared information about their training programs and areas of specialization. Thus, in addition to traditional areas of diplomacy training, the Academy offers interdisciplinary training in such areas as energy transition, environmental diplomacy, brand building, cyber diplomacy and crisis management.

To formalize and consolidate the intentions, the importance of signing the Memorandum of Understanding between the Academy and IIR was emphasized.
