Ambassador of Turkmenistan presented his credentials to the King of the Netherlands
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan Sapar Palvanov presented his credentials to King Willem Alexander of the Netherlands.
During an audience on Wednesday, March 29, the diplomat conveyed warm greetings and best wishes to the monarch from Turkmen President Serdar Berdymukhamedov. The ambassador also confirmed that the government of Turkmenistan, having appointed him as Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, is keen to further expand and strengthen bilateral relations in all areas.
Willem Alexander stressed that the kingdom is also interested in further developing relations with Turkmenistan.
It was noted that both sides have an excellent opportunity to raise the quality of bilateral economic cooperation to a new level. The priority areas of cooperation were voiced, including energy/green energy, shipbuilding, inter-port cooperation, agriculture, information technology and others.
The King supported the proposal to establish a regular dialogue between the business communities of both countries to study supply and demand in the markets of Turkmenistan and the Netherlands, the investment climate and prospects for doing business and implementing joint projects.
According to Willem Alexander, the Central Asian region as a whole, which lies between Europe and Asia, and Turkmenistan in particular, can play a crucial role in the development of continental transport corridors.
