Ambassador Sapar Palvanov held a series of meetings with the Permanent Representatives of EU Member States to the European Union, including Malta's Mr. Neil Kerr, Poland's Ms. Agnieszka Bartol, Sweden's Ms. Mikaela Kumlin Granit, and the Netherlands' Mr. Pieter Jan Kleiweg de Zwaan.

The Ambassadors discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations, reaffirming their mutual interest in further strengthening cooperation and enriching it with practical content.

Particular attention was given to cooperation between Turkmenistan and the European Union. The diplomats highlighted the timeliness of further enhancing the contractual and legal framework, as well as the importance of maintaining active engagement within existing mechanisms and formats of cooperation.

In the course of the discussions, the growing importance of Central Asia and Turkmenistan was underlined, noting their role as a stable and secure partner and a reliable corridor connecting Asia and Europe. It was emphasized that a stable and secure Central Asia is in the broader interest of the European Union.

The parties also discussed the importance of maintaining regular dialogue in Brussels at the level of ambassadors and permanent representatives of EU Member States and Central Asian countries. In light of the increasing interregional engagement, it was agreed that closer and more frequent contacts would contribute to better coordination and further strengthen cooperation.

It was further noted that the European Union plays an important role in supporting the development of Central Asian countries, including Turkmenistan, particularly through advanced technologies, expertise, and joint initiatives. In this context, Ambassadors emphasized the mutual importance of continued partnership based on trust, practical cooperation, and shared interests.

The meetings were held in a positive atmosphere, with all sides expressing their readiness to continue dialogue and further develop mutually beneficial cooperation both bilaterally and within the framework of Turkmenistan–EU relations.
