Yesterday in Bruges, Belgium, a significant event took place: the launch of a new educational program by the European College with the support of the European External Action Service. This program, aimed at young diplomats from Central Asia, is designed to strengthen educational and diplomatic ties between the regions.

The program, developed in collaboration with leading European educational institutions, includes a two-week training for participants focused on learning about the activities of the European Union institutions. The main goal of this initiative is not only to promote mutual understanding but also to deepen cooperation mechanisms between the EU and Central Asian countries.

At the opening ceremony, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan spoke, highlighting the critical importance of the program in the current context of strengthening interregional ties. He noted that this historical period is unique for creating and strengthening new cooperation mechanisms. The Ambassador also expressed Turkmenistan's readiness to continue supporting this program and to facilitate its further development.

Special attention at the event was paid to discussing the future of educational programs and their role in developing diplomatic relations. Conversations with Federica Mogherini, the Director of the European College (ex-High Representative of the EU), and Luke Devine, the Regional Director of the European External Action Service, focused on prospects and hopes for expanding cooperation.

This initiative will be a significant step in deepening educational and cultural ties between Central Asia and the European Union, fostering cultural exchange and strengthening diplomatic relations between the regions.
