Cycling action took place in Brussels

On June 2, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Belgium organized a bike ride in the format of a friendly competition as part of the celebration of the World Bicycle Day. Participants rode bicycles in the city park "Cambre" and around the serene lake in it, enjoying the fresh air and beautiful scenery.
The event was held in a spirit of camaraderie. The guests were treated to delicious Turkmen national snacks and dishes, which added a festive atmosphere to this day.
The event was attended by the international magazine "Diplomatic World", representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Belgium, and citizens of Turkmenistan. The event was a great opportunity for people from different walks of life to come together and celebrate the importance of sustainable transport and a healthy lifestyle.
According to the results of the competition, representatives of the Embassies of Uzbekistan, Russia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan entered the top five fastest cyclists.
Turkmenistan, by promoting cycling as a mode of transport, encourages people to reduce their carbon footprint and have a positive impact on the environment.
