THE AMBASSADOR OF TURKMENISTAN PRESENTED HIS CREDENTIALS TO THE KING OF BELGIUM

Yesterday at the Royal Palace of Brussels, Ambassador of Turkmenistan Sapar Palvanov presented his credentials to His Majesty Philippe King of the Belgians

The Ambassador also conveyed to His Majesty on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan the warmest greetings and sincere wishes of happiness and prosperity to the kingdom.

At the meeting with the King of the Belgians, Ambassador Palvanov assured the King of the firm position of his government aimed at bringing bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Belgium, and naturally, with the European Union to a new high level. Strengthening trusting relations with the European Union in all possible spheres will be his main objective during his tenure in Brussels.

Reinforcing trade and economic cooperation also became one of the main topics discussed, where the parties confirmed the commitment and interest of the business circles of both sides in more active cooperation in all possible spheres of the economy. Such spheres as energy, agriculture, construction industry and others were highlighted as priorities.

The Ambassador heads the mission located in Brussels, which is also responsible for relations with the European Union, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, as well as the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW).
