The Days of Culture of the Republic of Belarus in Turkmenistan
On December 7, 2015 the opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Belarus in Turkmenistan has been held at the Palace of Mukams of Turkmenistan State Cultural Centre.
The composition of the creative delegation of the friendly country included well-known groups, masters of arts, filmmakers, writers and artists.
After the official part of the opening ceremony there was a concert of Belarusian masters of arts and culture. Its program included folk music and dance, opera arias, popular song genre, and pop hits of 1970 - 80s.
The audience applauded to the skill of the famous band "Khoroshki", like old friends took the ensemble "Pesnyary" and People's Artists of Belarus Alexander Tikhanovich and Jadwiga Poplawski, they appreciated the performance of the soloist of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of Belarus Honored Artist of Belarus Nina Sharubina.
Days of Culture of the Republic of Belarus in Turkmenistan are continuing, their program will get an idea about the history, culture and musical traditions of the friendly country. The Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan will host an exhibition of Belarusian masters of Arts and crafts. On December 9, the State Library of Turkmenistan State Cultural Centre will host a meeting of poets and writers of the two countries.
Belarusian artists will visit the city of Turkmenabat, where they gave a concert at the State Music and Drama Theatre named after Seyitnazar Seydi of the Lebap velayat.
Creative forum will be completed by a joint concert of masters of culture and arts of Turkmenistan and Belarus, which will take place on December 10, at the Palace of Mukams of the State Cultural Centre of Turkmenistan.
A rich cultural program had been prepared for the delegation, including exploring the historic monuments, landmarks of the Turkmen capital, Ashgabat and Turkmenabat museums.
