During the discussions, the diplomats exchanged views on the current state and future prospects of bilateral relations, confirming their mutual interest in further strengthening cooperation. Particular emphasis was placed on the growing importance of Turkmenistan and the Central Asian region as a stable and secure bridge between Europe and Asia, contributing to enhanced intercontinental connectivity.

The Ambassadors underlined the timeliness of activating existing mechanisms of cooperation between the European Union and Central Asia, as well as the need to further advance EU–Turkmenistan engagement at the bilateral level.
