My dear people!

My dear compatriots!

I warmly congratulate you on Turkmenistan's national holiday, Independence Day. I am firmly convinced that the celebration of this national holiday, which forms a high sense of patriotism, will increase our pride in the achievements of our Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan.

Independence of our dear Motherland is a basis of our happy and prosperous life. Great victories won in 31 years of independence, high achievements are inextricably linked with patriotism, unity, integrity, honest and hard work of our beloved people. During the years of independence, great progress was made in the political, economic, cultural and social spheres. Turkmenistan has become a state with a powerful economy, a perfect social system, a dynamically developing state with great authority in the world community.

The honor and reputation of the state glorifying neutrality, peacefulness, good neighborliness at the world and regional level has increased considerably. Therefore, on the occasion of this national holiday, we inaugurate new industrial and social buildings, hold cultural and social events. We give state awards to our compatriots who have contributed to the foundation of our independence and neutrality, to the international prestige of our country, and to the implementation of our state programs.

Recently, a high-level State Council was held, a tremendously important social and political event which adopted crucial decisions that made every citizen of our country feel endless pride and love for our dear Motherland and reinforced our unity and integrity.

My dear people!

During the rebirth of a new era of a stable state, our principal goal is to ensure the prosperity of our Motherland and our people. In a new historical period we successfully realize the Program "Revival of a new epoch of the sovereign state: the National Program of social and economic development of Turkmenistan for 2022-2052", "the Program of social and economic development of the country for 2022-2028", "the National Program of reforming living conditions of the population of villages, settlements, etrap centers and cities for the period till 2028", and with our complex reforms we are on a victorious way of development. We are successfully continuing the diversification, digitalization and industrialization of the national economy through innovation.

We are building the Ashgabat City residential complex in our capital, modern villages, towns, small, medium and big industrial enterprises, modern transport and communications systems, high-speed highways in our regions, and improving the security, employment and quality of life of our people.

As we continue our foreign policy based on good-neighborliness, mutual respect, and equal and mutually beneficial cooperation in the world and the region, we also take a very responsible approach to issues concerning the future of our neutral homeland and the happiness of our people and all mankind. We are strengthening and developing our multilateral relations with such authoritative international organizations as the United Nations, the European Union, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, the Non-Aligned Movement and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, with countries in Asia and the Pacific, Central Asia and the Middle East and with countries from all continents.

On the basis of our international initiatives, the 97th plenary meeting of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution entitled "Central Asia - Zone of Peace, Trust and Cooperation". The documents of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly included the Ashgabat Declaration, adopted as a result of the Parliamentary Forum of Central Asian States and the Russian Federation, as well as the Declaration of the First Dialogue of Women of Central Asia and Russia.

Turkmenistan was elected as Vice-President of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly. All these are historic events that raise the international prestige of our country, and evoke feelings of immeasurable pride and joy for our dear Motherland. Our strong state that is widely celebrating the 31st anniversary of its independence will confidently follow the white road of development in the future.

Once again I sincerely congratulate you on the national holiday of Turkmenistan - Independence Day. I wish you good health, longevity, happy and prosperous life and every success in your activity to further strengthen the foundations of the independence of our dear Homeland.
